The lit word
You didn’t ask for this one, but here’s why I wanted to include it. Rod mentioned, “The doorway option… it’s just that the ‘final’ version of it hasn’t ‘arrived’ as yet.” Early on in the process, I pictured a simple mark with light coming through in motion. This is another way we can get there.
Here we put the exposure idea into motion. The word is the light. With too little, it breaks into fragments, and with too much, it swells until the letters run together. It starts at the n and moves outward, then settles where the static logo is. Exposure is also how film catches light, which ties it back to the heart of Wonder: story.
